What is OpenBOR?
OpenBOR is a free and open-source side scrolling game engine. There are hundreds of fangames of popular franchies created for OpenBOR. It's mostly optimized for side scrolling beat 'em up style games (Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, Final Fight), but can easily accommodate any sort of gameplay style and feature. OpenBOR is based on the freeware DOS title Beats of Rage released in 2004, a beat 'em up game heavily inspired from Sega's Streets of Rage series. Beats of Rage's source code was released publically in 2005 and OpenBOR was born. Most games from OpenBOR can be played on PC as well on Android devices!
Simple Guide!
This simple guide will cover basics and how can you play great games with OpenBOR!
For PC versions its quite simple, you just need to extract zip or rar files provided on ZeroGems and you are ready to play, mostly by opening .exe file.
For Android versions you will need to install OpenBOR.apk file and trough that app you can play almost any game from OpenBor engine by moving PAK file (PAK file is actuall game) into OpenBOR/Paks folder on your device, and thats it!
Its really simple and almost the same procces like when you install games which have DATA or OBB files from ZeroGems site. Only difference is just a folder actually.
